Lots of clangers from both teams. A really poor standard game overall.

No doubt we did play with a bit more intensity, which is good, but we still made a heap of stupid errors. I'd simply prefer we get a forwardline mix that works and that we also get delivery into the forward 50 ... that 1. is more towards the center than the boundary; 2. honors leads with kicks at chest height rather than 3-4m into the air; and 3. shows signs that the kicker actually engaged their brain...

Just horrible. Incredibly low footy IQ. We went wide, kicked to a contest (if not straight to them) so many times.

Durham and Caldwell have definitely made a big difference and Merrett was just unbelievable. Absolutely ran his guts out. I got a bit nervous in the last ten minutes - afraid we were going to stuff it up and let them steal it back. A great win, but gee it would be nice if we actually put a team away...

Umpiring was absolutely disgusting in that third quarter, but in the end we just weren't good enough. Every time we come up against decent opposition we get absolutely shown up. If by some miracle we manage to make the eight, we will get spanked in the elimination final yet again.

We had 54 tackles for the game and not a single one of them was given htb. That is utterly ridiculous, especially when they claimed they were going to start paying it again.

Absolutely horrible. If we play like that next week Carlscum will beat us by 100 points.

The term "Downhill Skier" comes to mind. Happy to run to receive and look good but shocking accountability going the other way... from half through 1st to half way through 2nd we looked like a Bottom 4 side And have not really looked like scoring. Forward entries terrible and when it hits...

One of the worst victories I've ever seen. Ridley and Hind were good. Can't think of any other positives.

One of my boyhood heroes. My first couple of seasons going to games (1970 and 1971) we were pretty hopeless overall, but Davis was a star.

He was captain for those two years (not 1972, which is when Tuddy arrived).

Third quarter was pretty good but most of the rest of the game was a snorefest.

We are not playing anything like a team that sits 2nd on the ladder....but oh well somehow we ARE sitting second on the ladder!

I thought Hind was ok. Kelly did a good job on Greene too. Some of those lesser lights did well.

It does seem very odd not to choose Shiel (or perhaps Tsatas).
