Neill to Liverpool?

According to SEN tonight Lucas Neill may be heading to liverpool. apparently he can buy out his contract at blackburn because he is over 28 years old and liverpool offered 2mill. Thats roughly what i heard, somone may know more!

they have to tomorrow to complete deal, then transfer window closes.

Blackburn have rejected the 2 mil. bid but have already lined up Danny Mills as a relpacement, so he may very well be headed to Anfield

Have been hearing similar things around the traps. It would be a great move for Neill. Would also make liverpoool my favorite EPL team. Hope he goes there, as i think he would shine at a bigger club.

He'll be lucky to crack the defence at Liverpool.

Might be a while before we see him settled there.

Neill stays Put at Ewood park.

expect to see him go somewhere in January otherwise Rovers will get NOTHING for him in 12 months

Very upset the Neill deal didn't go through, as would have given me 3 Kop defenders in my Fantasy team, along with 3 Chelski ones, thanks to the Cole/Gallas trade finally getting across!

Neill and Kewell together in the red. They were both rooting for it. I was too. Kewell is the reason I started following Leeds about 10 years back.
