Took a while, inevitable really.

Names:
Tigers? Nope. #-o
Devils? too close to Demons? :-k
Apples?

Players:
Have we got any young blokes from Tassie that might wanna head home in a few years?
I can see their salary cap might need to be higher to attract some players.

The song:
Will be fascinating.

Gotta be Tassie Devils (animal kind). Work out a deal / agreement with WB.

Tassie Tigers can’t happen - unfortunately. But would you want to be known as an extinct animal? Could be a real omen.

Other than that…

Tassie Mariners?

Tassie Double Headers?

Tassie Scallop Pies?

Tassie Maps?

Seeing a lot of pushback on Dangerfield's comment about taking players from other clubs under contract.
Notably, it's all been criticism without a better suggestion.
But I think he's close to the mark, maybe with some tweaks.
Thoughts??

A simple jumper design is always better.

A 23,000 seat stadium seems a tad small. If they get a home final against Collingwood will they be forced to play it at the MCG like Geelong?

About time they were part of the comp.

Tassie Thylacines.

The animal might be extinct, but we can bring it back to ‘life’.

I have been unable to find anything in what you’re alluding to grass other than someone at work mentioning a derogatory remark said about the decision to bring in a Taz team by calling it “frankfurts and beans”. I’m not sure of the author of this statement, perhaps it’s from the network in question?

Wonder about the derogatory comments though :-k

Gee,imagine that.AWFULL might have to Cough a few lousy $Hundred Mill themselves, then Cry Poor and point the Gun elsewhere, telling various bodies,”Find your Own Money”.

I really must get that book by Mick Warner.

Stadium is allegedly at risk if the ALP has to form a minority government withe the Greens in Tas

Greens are strongly opposed to the new stadium

ALP is "going to review" it. Could favor a rebuild of Blunstone/Bellerive given Cricket Tas are moving out of the oval (https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-02-17/ ... /103475616)

But before anyone gets excited about voting Liberal ... The Tas Govt has announced Eric Abetz as one of their candidates in a safe seat

And they have pre-selected one of the only medical doctors who was stripped of her license to practice because she is totally anti-vax (was writing exemptions like they were confetti) and also refused to get vaccinated herself.

And Tassie used to be such a nice place.

Was Tassie devoid of Covid,or did they Crumble to the Idiot Morrison Government, making her stance obsolete?

Putting her aside, are those lousy, stingy Pricks at AWFULL House, still refusing to put any amount of funding in to the Stadium and counting on the Coalition to Swan in at the next Election?Hell of a Gamble if Tasmanians think State Government Money is better spent elsewhere!Of course,if the boofheads vote solely for a footy stadium,Tasmania really does get the Government it deserves!
