Anyone else get the email regarding Kane Johnsons acceptance speach at the the Richmond B&F.

He thanked the players who were leaving and retiring and wished them all the best in the future, only problem was 3 of them didn't know they had been delisted.

Funny if true.

I just saw it on Channel 10 news.

He named Rodan, Roach and one other who I didn't recognise.

Richmond are now saying that no one has been delisted and won't be until after trade week.

Small comfort to the three players named

Saw it on Fox Footy (presented by the lovely Tiffany Cherry) and I couldn't help but laugh.

Wishing Rodan, Roach and Jeremy Humm (who played a couple of games from the rookie list) all the best for the future.

I don't think Kane Johnson will be put in the loop on any other decisions in a hurry.

Would have to be a nomination for the Richmond (or AFL) Wally award for the year!

The footage showed it coming from Kane Johnson's mouth, in person, on the stage, medal around his neck...........how f****** funny!

You'd hope that Rodan,Roach and Humm didn't have a mouth full of food or drink at the time. Good chance someone directly opposite at the table would have copped a shower (of something) if they did. Poor buggers.

I'm surprised Rodan is being de-listed. He's been stiff with injury this year and had a good year last year.
I'd be surprised if they let him go.

If so then he's obviously up for grabs - and i think he would be a handy player at Essendon.

Very quick player over the ground and does some good things.

Decision making though is terrible, most of the time.

Maybe a change of scenery will help him.

Would think that he'll find another home.

Wasn't Rodan wanting to come to Essendon last year but decided to sign with the Tigers for another season??

Obviously Kane heard from somewhere that those blokes had been cut, as he is the captain he must have been told something.

Dont reckon Essendon should go for Rodan. Theyve had enough bad experience with players injured and unable to get on the park lately. With the supposed pool of talent in this draft they should go for fresh players who have real potential to be stars. With 3 picks in the top 20 its possible.
