Makes me worry...

8. Weideman...injuries have kept him from getting a consistent run at things. Last year he battled an ankle problem that interrupted his start to this year and it resurfaced before the mid-year carnival, forcing him out for the rest of the season
9. Curnow...broke down with a knee injury, which saw him miss a large chunk of the middle of the season

Injuries are my biggest concern...
Unlike Judd, we haven't had a good record taking injury prone players in the last decade...
I think we are likely to take Weideman, but would prefer Hipwood - 200cm, quick, plays both ends of the ground...

Yeah.

We'll probably end up with Weideman and Francis which I won't be unhappy with.

Just prefer Curnow.

Read a bit of an article about Ah Chee. Sounds like a freak in the Rioli mould. Any idea where he'll be taken?

I think he is touted in the 8-14 bracket...but IMO, I think he could be a slider...just a gut feel...

So he will obviously be taken before our pick 24 so maybe we should take the 'actual' Rioli that is there with pick 24?

Watch the AFL highlights. He says he models himself on Burgoyne and that would be about right. Wouldn't compare him to Rioli.

I was leaning towards Curnow but after looking at enough of some of the highlight packages I really like the look of Francis and Weideman for our first two picks.

Surely we'll have to nickname Francis - "Bruce"

Melbourne is going to do us a big favour , there going to take Darcy Parish with pick 3 , which i'm sure would of been our first choice , the next choices are Curnow , Weideman and Francis .

Curnow is going to be a big midfielder who can go forward.

Weidaman is a centre half forward.

Francis is a classic utility

If we take Curnow and Weideman you set up a forward structure along with Danihar ,Langford and Laverde for the next ten years could possibly take Rioli or Lovell at 24 or 25 will give you the small forward we have lacked for ten years .

I no we are light on for midfielders and Parish is a potential A grader , but its up forward were we have ben a shambles since Lucas and Lloyd , we can't keep taking fullbacks and playing them forward . Get the structures right then maybe trade for a top midfielder next year , both GWS and Gold Coast have some quality coming out of contract

Seems we are into Oliver in the top ten ... but so are Melbourne.

He is likened to Dustin Martin in playing style, skills and impact (but without the tatts and baggage). Likes to kick goals too. http://www.zerohanger.com/2015-afl-draf ... c06ET55.97
