Nearly spat the dummy taking Langford over Laverde because I was convinced Carlton would snap him up but we then nailed him anyway.

Would've preferred Goddard to Langford if I'm honest but meh.

Some Carlton supporters are absolutely spewing we got Laverde. That's good enough for me!

Which often means not good enough at any one thing.

Laverde sounds like a steal. Good pick. Although of course everyone's a gun at this point.

I think we have absolutely nailed the draft, time will tell.

Two guys good overhead, good forward of centre, good kicking skills and smooth movers.

And both a good height.

Oh an Essendon supporters as kids :)

Weird draft - most selected were from the TAC with QLD and NSW academy making up the rest ... SA and WA selections waay under represented. Very few mature age picks and only two rucks (one a F/S)

There appears to be some serious talent still left on the shelf and some of our under-performing players should thank their lucky stars they weren't delisted for speculative or mature age picks.

The rucks that were discussed in here earlier (Balderstone etc) are still available for rooking. I think we have 3 spots available?
