Doubt Motlop would want to come to us but the thought of him in red and black sounds lovely (plus Geel used the pick on him that we gave them for Prismall...)
How about we get Dangerfield, we give Geelong our first 2 picks, and they give Motlop to Adelaide...
Or better yet, how about we give our first 2 picks to Adelaide for Danger and leave Geelong hanging...
Can we throw in Dempsey to sweeten the deal?

Maybe they'll throw in Bennell nice and cheaply too.

Jon Patton would be a tall forward to consider. His two knee injuries make him a big risk, but they should also make him cheaper to trade for and pay. And WS need a tall defender and maybe Treloar will still be available.

I think this is may be a pipedream.

Patton and Treloar wont be going anywhere....well I should correct that, if Treloar goes anywhere it will be for way too much money.
Tom Scully but in reverse.
(I think Treloar will be/is a better player, but still)

I think either Smith or Leunberger from the QLD clubs are definite possibilities. Just need to work on suitable trades. And they fill a definite need.

Golby apparently out of favour at the Lions. Decent HBF, quite quick.

Luenbergers injury history must be a concern, as much as Patton's :?:

Not just his injury concern, Luenberger has been extremely inconsistent this year.

He's mostly played as back up to Martin.

Essendon to look at every available ruckman
...
Out of favour Gold Coast ruckman Zac Smith has repeatedly been linked to the Bombers but Fairfax Media understands the search is even wider.

Well you missed the chance for the obvious pun.

My brother will tell anyone who will listen (ie. me) that Howe is crap, he just takes high marks. I think he's improved somewhat recently, but isn't great and won't help us with what we really need, which is midfielders.

We've got enough inconsistent c**** that can play on a flank.

This one has more legs lately according to the afl website. Along with us being in the hunt to try and lure Bennell.

Our list would look fantastic with those two onboard.

At the moment - GC would possibly wear a straight swap of Dempsey for Bennell.
