Kavanagh

Post by j-mac31 »

In other news, midfielder Elliott Kavanagh has told the Bombers he may examine other options, having struggled to break into the senior side in his three years there.

Maybe if he actually cracked in instead of wafting around the field he could have played more games.

Who else would want him?

Is this a case of 'f*** off quietly son and we will let you make it seem like you wanted out...'?

If he wasn't contracted, I would've been calling for his delisting..

just didn't have the desire to get the footy, if we get anything for him we'd be lucky

3 years ago he was being talked up for the rising star and an absolute steal for Essendon

Another example of why we need a quality player in return for Ryder.

Sometimes these kids dominate against players of their own age, but on the big stage they're just not up to it.

Picking kids at any number in the draft is a gamble. This one hasn't paid off.

A shame, but that's footy.

Considering how he and his old man acted before the draft his options will be limited.

I think they told Norf to F off and he didn't want to go there.

Do players actually get delisted any more? Or do they all go and 'explore their options' before it actually happens?*

* not saying thats the case with Kav, but it sure looks better to find a new job rather than get the sack.

Sorry to see him go but he didn't show enough to warrant more games, a few glimpses here and there along with patchy form in VFL. Shame I had high hopes...

That and every other club who spoke to him.

He refused to go anywhere but us.
