Off-season targets 2015
James Aish seems very likely to be leaving Brisbane at the end of the year. I think he's from SA, but Vic clubs are considered in with a chance. We wouldn't be able to offer as much money as other clubs, but should definitely reach out to him.
Aaron Francis is the Messiah.

Think he signed a 4 or fiver before the start of the season.BenDoolan wrote:Jeremy Cameron thanks (unless he's signed recently).

Yeah, he's re-signed.Gimps wrote:Think he signed a 4 or fiver before the start of the season.BenDoolan wrote:Jeremy Cameron thanks (unless he's signed recently).
Maybe. He wasn't in the GC team in the first two weeks though and only got in after they lost their first two games.Mrs Mercuri wrote:Id love us to enquire about Brandon Matera- could be the goal kicking small forward we are craving at the moment

Extremely likely to leave... doubt we have anything the lions would want in a trade though...j-mac31 wrote:James Aish seems very likely to be leaving Brisbane at the end of the year. I'm pretty sure they do and he possibly re-signed for several years last year.Mrs Mercuri wrote:Do the Swans still want Tom Mitchell?
Also, on Matera, he's been disciplined twice already this year for drinking when he wasn't supposed to.

lets say we pull of a miracle and nab him, I would then push Melksham forward and turn him into a goal sneak, he could do it he has shown that.j-mac31 wrote:Good.boncer34 wrote:We'll be making a massive play for Dangerfield

Obviously, a number of clubs will be doing the same. The Cattery and the stink from Princess Park for starters.boncer34 wrote:We'll be making a massive play for Dangerfield

Until he signs, every f****** club will be after his signature...

Carlton won't be at this stage.BenDoolan wrote:Obviously, a number of clubs will be doing the same. The Cattery and the stink from Princess Park for starters.boncer34 wrote:We'll be making a massive play for Dangerfield
Oh and there is rumors around that Geelong can afford Dangerfield or Hawkins but not both.

They've got lots of room to move. Judd is finished at season's end. Talk (amongst their supporters) is to castrate the likes of Gibbs and Yarran. Gibbs back to SA is a real possibility in an agreed trade.boncer34 wrote:Carlton won't be at this stage.BenDoolan wrote:Obviously, a number of clubs will be doing the same. You're thinking salary cap not list profile.BenDoolan wrote:They've got lots of room to move. Judd is finished at season's end. Carlton know that Danger won't be there in their next flag window. The reason there is talk of shifting Gibbs is to get value out of him.
Sadly people at Carlton are realising throwing money at a big player won't bring success and they realise tying a large chunk up in Danger is short term minor gain for more long term pain. They've learnt from the Judd trade.
Trust me, they may make all the right sounds through their media contacts to appease their fans but Carlton will not be making a play.

Yeah and I think when he's played HF in the past he's been decent setting up goals as well. But I'd worry about what we do if we get Dangerfield after we get him.Jazz_84 wrote:lets say we pull of a miracle and nab him, I would then push Melksham forward and turn him into a goal sneak, he could do it he has shown that.j-mac31 wrote:Good.boncer34 wrote:We'll be making a massive play for Dangerfield

Re: Off-season targets 2015
There seems to be trouble in (Surfer's) Paradise. I don't know if anyone will leave because of it, but some of their young guys would be worth pursuing as hard as Dangerfield.
