Bombers enter race for Dangerfield
Bombers enter race for Dangerfield
Well not really but I think they should, if the guy wants back to Victoria we should offer him ANYTHING (well almost anything), HE is exactly what out team wants/needs at the moment and if we don`t make at least a token gesture of interest then we are being remiss. I would seriously like to see him in a Bombers jumper.

Worsfold can bring him over when he accepts the Bombers gig.

Nice idea, but I don't think he'll go anywhere but G-Town.BenDoolan wrote:Worsfold can bring him over when he accepts the Bombers gig.

Re: Bombers enter race for Dangerfield
Why on earth would Dangerfield want to go to Geelong anyway? They're stuffed for the foreseeable future.
Any Melbourne based team would do for him, and there's plenty of others that could offer close enough to similar $$$ AND brighter prospects of success (including EFC)

Re: Bombers enter race for Dangerfield
Yeah, yeah, I get that, but it's not like the commute to/from Geelong (depending where he chooses to actually live) is any issue if he's playing for a Melbourne based club.Crazyman wrote:nudder12 wrote:Why on earth would Dangerfield want to go to Geelong anyway?/quote]

I don't think they're stuffed, particularly if they add Dangerfield.nudder12 wrote:Why on earth would Dangerfield want to go to Geelong anyway? They're stuffed for the foreseeable future.

Also I don't know why this would surprise anyone? I'd be stunned if most clubs hasn't tabled offers to him.

Yep club would be derelict in their duty if they did not at least make an enquiry/offer.boncer34 wrote:Also I don't know why this would surprise anyone? I'd be stunned if most clubs hasn't tabled offers to him.
Doubt he would be interested in coming to us, but the Club still has to ask the question.

His two contested marks in the last 5 min...
Re: Bombers enter race for Dangerfield
He wants to leave Adelaide?
Now?
I hate the Bastards, but they are Genuine Premiership contenders, with him around in the next 2 - 3 years.
Still,if he wants To go home,........is there nobody to pick him up and drop him off in Ballarat, for a lazy trip to and from Adelaide,in the Overlander's Sleeper Class?

Re: Bombers enter race for Dangerfield
If Adelaide match his offer he apparently will consider entering the draft so Geelong don't have to give anything up. But surely then someone else will jump in earlier.
