So What picks do we have?

Post by desmondo »

In the PSD and rookie draft?

And who are we hoping to get?

Gach Nyoun looks an interesting prospect.

Who else can/should we go after?.

I am not sure we have picks left in the PSD given we selected 7 in the draft - took 2 trades and upgraded one rookie (10 added to list) while cutting 9 from the senior list

I know we are committed to rooking one of the deisted senior players (and perhaps Steinberg)

But reports are that Wallis is likely to be selected as a F/S rookie http://www.heraldsun.com.au/leader/loca ... 736ede67d3

There is no PSD this year. Clubs with picks all declined to use them and will now take an extra rookie.

We have drafted Tom Wallis with our last pick in the rookie draft. After Tom we have 3 picks but one of those will go to redrafting Will Hams.

We should do a Melbourne and ask for a priority pick.

If we weren't getting the banned players back, definitely...but we are no chance and would look like right mugs asking given the fact this is a club created self-inflicted situation...

Pick 1 to GC

Picks 3 & 9 to ESS

Pick 3 & 3rd round to GC

Prestia/ O'Meara to ESS

NET Essendon: Pick 1 & 40ish for Pick 9 and Prestia/ O'Meara

NET Gold Coast: They get there academy player that's meant to be the best in the draft with pick 3 & a 3rd/4th rounder, plus pick 1 for the best of the rest.

I like it, but surely we can do it in one go.

It's just the inner workings of the deal. The result is the same.

I reckon it's probably the best we could hope for.

Wouldn't mind taking Jack Martin off their hands too.
