The weird thing with Shiel’s abysmal form this year (I know he’s been bad before this) was that interstate trip he took just before the first preseason game without the club knowing about it.

I think Shiel’s a nice guy and probably a really good footballer but right now he’s in the wrong place at the wrong time.
