That McKay, Redman, and Jones can be counted in our "best 10" is an indication of the crappyness of our list.

Caldwell polled much lower than he deserved.

Here's something to think about.

If the voting system from 2017 (latest I could find) is still the same - 5 coaches give every player a ranking from 0-5 for every match.
Then getting 1 vote from each coach would be 5 votes per game.
Over a 22 game season, getting 100 votes shouldn't be too hard, right?

Now look at the overall results.
How many players, in how many games, must have scored a ZERO??

The top 10 place getters all played over 20 games in the season. The ones that missed the top 10 (and played 20 games or more) are:

Jade Gresham (22)
Jayden Laverde (21)
Jake Kelly (20)
Nik Cox (20)

To be fair, Cox was subbed off four times this year and started as sub once.

Though Jones was subbed off three times.
