Bombertalk Best and Fairest

Post by robbie67 »

I was going to do it next week over at Bomberblitz. Instead, i will do it next Monday night in here.

Though to keep it simple, just do your regular votes again this week over on the old BT.

What if we don't have enough time to get our votes in?

I think it's best to do the weekends votes in here? As I'm unsure as to what stage on Monday those f****** are going to SHUT MY GODDAMN BOMBERTALK YOU BASTARDS.

Is there a swear filter in here? We'll soon find out.

Robbie, I'm glad you came across... are you staying or just for the count?

only words currently filtered are f*** and c***. But we'll see how we go and if things get out of hand maybe add more words to the list. But I think everyone will enjoy the higher amount of freedom around here and won't abuse it.

Good work robbie, certainly do it here, and make a comment of that on BT. Our leaderboard isnt public is it? So I'd be putitng my money on Watson or Stants. Is is 5,4,3,2,1 most votes each week or 3,2,1?

The points have always been awarded 7,6,5,4,3 in home and away games we win. 6,5,4,3,2 in home and away games we draw, and 5,4,3,2,1 in home and away games we lose. In the case of finals it is 9,8,7,6,5 for a win, and 7,6,5,4,3 in games that we lose....unfortunately this year, we dont have to worry about that.

Previous winners have been:

2005 - Mark Johnson
2004 - Adam McPhee
2003 - James Hird
2002 - Mark Johnson
2001 - Matthew Lloyd

So we should vote for 5 players each week? I find that more difficult and could have sworn someone else said to vote 3-2-1.

As far as I know/knew, it's always been a 3-2-1 system, though this year there were plenty who "infiltrated" the voting and cast up to 7 votes for the one game.

I think it's easier and simpler to keep it to a 3-2-1 system, but that's just my opinion :)
