What did Caddy and Redman do to get suspended?

Also - Caldwell is likely to miss next week with concussion.

You'd keep Guelfi? He was crap...

OUT: Goldstein (omit), Draper (omit), Guelfi (inj), Cox (omit), Menzie (omit)

IN: Wright, Bryan, Parish, J.Davey, Roberts

REASONS: Wright plays FF & 2nd Ruck. Bryan because he's earned his chance via the VFL and it's time Draper paid a price for not being any better now than he was 3 years ago (time to go with the future). Parish because he's a clearance monster & we've been flogged in clearances for weeks. Davey because we need some pace & spark in the forward line and while Alwyn is good at chasing he doesn't actually physically impact the ball or player so I'm hoping Jayden can do better. Roberts because he's earned it in the VFL and it means Martin can play Wing because we need more pace across the midfield (so Cox misses out), which means Gresham plays more as small forward which we also need more of.

Sorry to Heppell & Hind, probably deserve a spot but not sure who they push out.

Guelfi out for 3-4 weeks with a hammy

Parish a test.

Also Baldwin ruled out for season ...
and... Reid for 8 weeks (which means we would need to make the Prelim final for him to come back in)

I thought the judge dropped all charges in court? He should be available…

Add Gresham to the list of WTFs. Sure he kicked 2 goals, but one was advantage from a Cox free at the top of the square ... and the second was milked.

So the run in the VFL showed that Wright and Heppell were back to top form after being omitted? But Hobbs, Bryan and Tsatas didn't impress? Of course I am being sarcastic.

Also of concern - Goldy listed as emergency??? WTF? He was shit last week.

Is it any wonder the rumors that Tsatas and Bryan are out the door at season's end have such currency?

Scott is gonna leave us the way he left Norf ... but we won't have a biased CEO of the AFL to bail us out.

Just a couple of things from my point of view…

At least Gresham has kicked 15 goals this season and is up there in regards to i50s and goal assists. Menzie, on the other hand, has kicked 2 goals from 10 games [-(

How they ignore Hobbs as a replacement for Menzie, I have no idea. That’s just bonkers.

Tsatas has a lot of work to do IMO. His kicking is bloody hopeless.

They should have dropped BOTH Goldy and Draper after last week, and given Bryan a full tilt go at it this week.

Ridiculous.

I can think of half a dozen instances where Menzie was one out with an opponent with the goals close by and he blew everyone of them. We always seem to deliberately play a spud in the team, think Hams, who bring nothing to the table but rarely get dropped.
We have a slim chance of playing finals and yet we fail to put our best available team on the paddock.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

So Wright goes into the ruck ... and his direct opponent kicks a goal ... twice.

And Cox has managed to give away 3 frees in 10 minutes.

And we are playing the same high possession, low territory game we managed to lose with last week.

So frustrated.

It just feels like an exact repeat of last week so far. How on earth do we let a team currently sitting 15th on the ladder kick five goals in a row against us and make them look like world champions???

Our backs don't want to go with their opponents.

The saints have 9 marks in their forward 50. We have one (Langford... who missed)

Seems the boys have already checked out and are thinking more about Koh Samui than the game.

Our talls in the forward line haven't managed a mark between them ... but there is no crumber to take advantage of the groundball.

At 1/4 time -
Menzie 0 Kicks 2 Handballs
Wright 0 K 1HB
Perkins 1 K 0HB
Jones 1 K 0HB
Cox 0K 1 HB

Looking alright. Impressed with our efforts thus far. All going to plan.

That’s if they intend on being the completely pathetic, gutless, weak, mediocre, bastard club we’ve been for 2 decades…

Draper and Wright playing Marshall into Brownlow form. Marshall had 13 disposals that quarter.

Any chance either of these two worldbeaters could run with Marshall and try to negate him?

Merrett must be wondering why he has to try to win the game off his own each week. Though it was a very nice goal.

Consistently f****** Essington !!

Langford - why the f*** is this guy playing ? f****** useless.
Martin - can't hit the side of a f****** barn. Pathetic.
Laverde - has zero idea when he's forced to chase up the ground.
Redman - no care. No urgency. No accountability.
Draper - just couldn't give a f***.
Heppell - she'll be f****** right. I'll leave it to someone else to chase.
Wright - 1 mark under the f****** roof !!

This is from 7 of our more experienced / leaders. No wonder the kids in the team have no f****** idea.

Should have checked out weeks ago when this f****** team checked out. Pissed at myself for continually getting sucked in. Team doesn't give a shit - why the f*** should ! !!??!!

Will Merrett be the first ever captain in history to walk out of a club before season’s end?

That’s what I’d do if I were him.

There’s only so much f****** custard one person can swallow.
