It is being reported on 3AW and SEN that Peter Wright has requested the opportunity to seek a transfer.

Interesting.

Probably because the gutless club refused to defend him against the bullshit suspension he copped earlier in the year.

He hasn’t looked the same since that suspension it must be said. His approach to marking contests has becone very hesitant and timid.

Something is NQR there that’s for sure. Sadly. The forward line needs him TBH. Our smalls aren’t hitting the scoreboard as much as we’d like, and we can’t rely on mid-sized “talls” to carry the load.

I would certainly make an effort to keep him.
He obviously has a bit of a confidence issue at the moment, but anyone who can consistently slot goals from any angle outside 50, should not be discarded. It would be a good measure of the club’s internal processes if they can get him back on track.
Even when he is not firing, he is a big presence on the forward line and can bring the ball to ground. What happens after that is a separate issue!!!

At the very least, he should be kept so the best defender does't go on Caddy
