From not coming on here as much these days and returning to the site lately... what's with all the people attacking and swearing at each other? Pretty sure people are allowed to have differing opinions! The "eating our own" is very Richmond and isn't very pleasant...
Just saying...

I hear ya Mrs M, best to ignore threads (WAFL GRASSY...lol) and posts you don't care about and stick to the topic of those you are interested in...Mrs Mercuri wrote:Crazyman wrote:Now now Mrs M, you are spoiling all of Robbie's funMrs Mercuri wrote:From not coming on here as much these days and returning to the site lately... what's with all the people attacking and swearing at each other? Well Robbie's gone, so the only ongoing fight remains Donnie and Grassy, but that's easily avoided by not clicking on the Perth thread.
Aaron Francis is the Messiah.

I think I looked at that thread once and decided not to bother again.

Re: Ever noticed when you post, you kill the thread?
Mrs M I know the feeling. The over bearing aggression is what has had me hardly posting too - I read a lot in here, and opposed to what some might think I am still adminning sometimes too but don't feel comfortable posting anymore because of the way some people have taken others opinions and used them as weapons against them. So it turns out my reluctance to given an opinion lest it be used against me has been used against me instead
I love debate. But this black and white (ugh) attitude some people have that their opinion is correct and anyone who challenges that is wrong just crawls up my arse and bites hard.
BT when it first started under Brad in the mid 90s was exactly the same as what this joint has threatened to degrade into. I also read that but rarely posted because I was 'just a woman'. I'll never forgive John for outing himself, Kylie and I as mods on the old BT, the attitude of some guys towards me after that changed and never came good - some blokes who liked the novelty of having a female around the place to pat on the head and flirt with did NOT like having a female with any power over them on a footy page

I'm for Talking Footy and Debate.
There's no skin off my nose,if people don't want to look at Perth Football Club and WAFL threads, but it's there if someone wants to just have a look.Get the "merest scrap of imformation",which might lights spark in the right place sour way if people thought it might help.
What I couldn't abide was someone objecting myself even posting the threads I did, come in,hang shit on itforeverything undertone sun and then bitch and moan about having to read it.I didn't ask for that crap and I certainly didn't back down.
But now, with the current mod's directive,I feel we can get on with more Bomber,Footy,Sports,General and not so serious talk,a little more constructively than we have in recent times. And maybe meet some of you guys, when I travel over to Melbourne in the next year or so,for a Beer or 3 at our Social HQ,wherever that is.
