He went off with a foot / ankle injury. He did come back on, but haven’t heard anything since.

Won’t surprise me if he’s fkd for a few weeks.

Club will say all week he is fine and then Thursday he is out for 4 weeks.

Going for scans, but apparently they think it's minor and even a possibility he'll play VFL this week.

Anyone have any idea about how often do they water the training grounds at the Hangar? Just wondering if there is a lot of ankle/shin soreness which later turns into something else?

Feel bad for Harry Jones, that is two years in a row where he has missed an extended period. He was playing his role well for the first month of the season too.

Laverde's AC joint should be right to go...

Shiel has a calf. A few hours on a flight might not be the best for a leg strain of any sort.

However, do they take the view that we're playing a team that's struggled quite a bit and give them another week regardless? I think I'd do that with Shiel. Calf injuries can be annoying and repetitive.
Lav otoh might do well with the run. A few years back they played Hurls straight back into the ones after an AC injury. I think it was a final too and we lost it. Ridley made way for him. Playing Hurls was probably a mistake then.

The selections will be interesting.
