Grassy
Grassy
I’m sure you will be in agreeance, but who the f*** does that toilet paper ‘The West Australian’ think it is? What a rubbish, shallow, witless, inane publication of excrement (better known as ‘R-SWIPE’).

Re: Grassy
The "journalist" that was responsible is bad enough, but then their Editor went online and stated he'd Block anyone who had anything negative to say about them.
Bigger picture: - It's an indictment on media generally that they are more willing to "outrage farm" than they are to publish responsible stories.
Re: Grassy
Stokes Corporation.7WestMedia or 7WestCoastMedia as many here call it,though it no doubt gives Eagles fans the absolute Shits!
Any decent journo's have been shuffled out the door, though Dear old Rick and Sue faithfully read the 6PM News.
Basil's there pushing Kerry's little hobby horses whenever possible as the Mayor of Perth.
As for the Rag itself,Kerry's downsizing the Corporation to the point,Rupe and Lachlan can buy him out at a reasonable Agreement to him,to enable him to get out and pursue other interests,so he really doesn't give a stuff what his Media outlets churn out these days.
He's pretty much turning The West into a Daily Telegraph Clone, ready for the takeover.Don't know what their share price is now(See if Al on the ABC has the latest on that),but it must have gone below 20 cents per share!Lord help any rema8ning shareholders. They may as well sell whilst they can,if Rupe gives them a half decent price!

They've Pissed off a lot of Traditional Conservatives,as Labor have gone about Shafting various constituencies with High Density Living and unaccountable, out of control Development Assessment Panels!
But betcha Bottom Dollar, once the WA ALP State Government have served their purpose,Kerry might want one last Hurrah,be it next year or 2029 and Count on Short and Forgiving memories at the Ballot Box for the WA Libs!
Doubt very much if he and Junior want to hang around until then,to get out of the business,so long as the State Politics suits his Aggendas, post 7WestMedia!
Re: Grassy
Anyone want to fill the rest of us in ... who don't read the "West Australian"?

Re: Grassy
Nice little form patch of 3 Wins from 5 games, but even just outlined in a small paragraph,it made for apalling reading.
The West is a Daily Telegraph in waiting and training for the Murdoch's!Still got one or 2 good 'uns in there, like Cartoonist Dean Alston, but many have gone as Kerry continues to strip it to the bone, before he heads off into the property development Sunset.

Re: Grassy
Thanks for that Ben.
The Weagles are a case study in how to bottom out badly by hanging onto over-the-hill players years too long. They were one of the oldest lists at the time when they won their premiership in 2018.
6 years later - they still have 11 of their premiership team on the books with most of the 11 cut choosing their own retirement (7), 1 moving interstate under free agency (Lycett), 1 a concussion forced retirement (Venebles) and only 2 being cut by the club against their will.
List management is important and the Weagles just haven't been ruthless enough.

Re: Grassy
Oh right - I didn't realise that this was published after he resigned.
That is just shabby, classless and vile.
