Two out, two in. Hazlewood ...who is the other one?

Renshaw selected.
Positive RAT this morning. Awaiting a PCR confirmation. Opens the door for Handscomb to replace him I believe.
Agar in. Boland out.

It’s a bonkers selection.
I don’t understand it.
Only two quicks picked - better hope Hazlewood doesn’t strain his side (AGAIN).
Boland dropped. lol.
Renshaw… just doesn’t make sense to me. Getting COVID lol. Than Handscomb on stand-by? Marcus Harris (not that I’m a fan) must be wondering WTF he’s doing travelling with the team!
Ah well…

Ah Sydney weather...Shitty one day...shittier the next
Re: Australia v South Africa 2022/23
WTF is going on with the review for catches? If the soft dismal is “out”, then there needs to be absolutely conclusive evidence to overturn the decision. How they overturned the 3 catches in this match is BULLSHIT.
FMD, it ain’t hard to apply the rule f***-sticks.
We just had the situation the ball before Smith’s ‘catch’ where an LBW was reviewed following a “not out”. The ball was deemed umpires call for hitting in line, but the ball would have crashed into middle stump. Not out. Fair enough.
Why don’t they apply the “umpires call” for onfield catches when the cameras don’t conclusively show the ball hitting the ground (or fingers under the ball)?
It’s just FAAARKED!

Was it Chappelli who said if you can’t get the technology right, leave it with the Umpires?BenDoolan wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 10:49 pm WTF is going on with the review for catches? That aside, allowing for all the Rain,I think the South Africans Earnt the Draw today, showing a little more backbone in their Batting than they ever did before.I can only assume Usman Khawaja was The Man of The Match today for his great knock of 195.If it wasn’t for Sydney’s bloody Weather,he could have notched a Triple Century under normal circumstances.Go gettem in India,Uzzie! We’ll need to pile on the runs there,Champ!

How does the Voting go for each Test?
If it’s done say,..on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis,Warner probably has 5 Votes in the bag for 1 Test, but otherwise nothing else.
Who else stood out?

Re: Australia v South Africa 2022/23
Smith scored the most runs in the series.
Head hit 3 half centuries, and averaged the same as Warner. The manner in which he made the runs were scintillating (strike rate of 100).
Alex Carey averaged 133 from 2 knocks and snared 13 dismissals.
Pat Cummins got the most wickets in the series at an average of 16.
Anyone of those 4 were more deserving.
I mean, there was talk of dropping Warner before the Boxing Day test lol
