Coaches 23.
Coaches 23.
Tumultuous coaching changes in the off season.
Some unusual coaching changes during the season.
Clarkson, Hardwick ...will they coach again?
Simpson? I hope he doesn't get sacked the week before they play us.
The media has gone quiet on Dew.
Fagan still an ongoing issue with the Hawks issue.
Rattan to the rescue!
Carlton have confirmed Voss's tenure until the end of 24. Isn't that usually a sign of a sacking?

Re: Coaches 23.
Surprised they didn’t run with Rutts considering his experience as senior coach (as an interim measure). After all, Tigers are still a show for September at this stage so you would have thought they’d use that opportunity within the ranks. I know has had evietience too, but not in getting to finals.
Re: Coaches 23.
Carlton cannot afford to sack Voss.
The soft salary cap (and the difficulties around brown paper bag payments these days) means that they are stuck with Voss.
Though if Voss were to walk voluntarily., it would be a very different question

Yes, but isn't it fun watching them squirm. Especially them!

A totally f***** up administration sacks their coach so they can get the inside running for Dimma
It doesn't seem to bother them that:
1. Dimma was almost sacked until the club set up the correct football department structure including changing their recruitment in 2007 - which snared Cotchin, Rance (priority pick), Vickery and Martin in 2 years.
2. Part of the problem with the Suns is the desire players have to run away from the club as soon as possible to a better administered club that actually draws a crowd... for really bad trade returns. Tom Lynch, Will Brodie, Jack Scrimshaw, Josh Caddy, Jack Bowes, Henry Schade, Jaeger O'Meara, Dion Prestia, Harley Bennell, Peter Wright, Jack Martin, Izak Rankin... in fact, some of the players that Dimma used in his premiership teams came from the Suns.
3.The other part of this process is the club puts great store in importing players for good dollars towards the end of their career and Greenwood, Callum Ah Chee, Oleg Markov, Brandon and Corey Ellis, Anthony Miles...
4. The club has a reputation that was enjoyed by the Saints in the 1980s... a party destination with lots of Gold Coast nightspots
Without a big change in the administration and organization of the club, no reasonable coach should go anywhere new the Suns.

Re: Coaches 23.
The other thing I'll say on this is Carowhine Wilson went absolutely apeshit over Bomba Thompson stepping down at the Cats citing burnout and being tired... yet a couple of months later he became assistant coach at Essendon.
Yet Dimma retired only 6 weeks ago from Richmond ... citing burnout and tiredness ... I wonder if he will be pilloried just like Thomspon was by Wilson?
I won't hold my breath,
