Players out of contract at EFC are:
Kaine Baldwin
Cory Brand
Joshua Eyre
Aaron Francis
Brayden Ham
Dyson Heppell *
Cian McBride
Jye Menzie
James Stewart
Alec Waterman *
(* = unrestricted free agent)

IMO, only Stewart and Menzie are non-negotiable re-signings
Baldwin, Brand and Eyre should get another 1 year so the new coach etc gets a look at them and can make a decision.
Stewart has signed on for another 2 years.
Agree with your thoughts on the others.

Just putting it out there we won’t be renewing our memberships if we recruit De Goey.

Forget it Essendon. What we need is a small goal kicking forward and big key back.

Menzie!! ❤️

Things go awry without Jye!!

Not sure what we could get in return. Possible 3rd round pick?

In the spirit of generosity, please just let him go.

FFS, the last f***'n thing we need is a high accumulator of the footy who does SFA with it. We have enough of these types already.

But it would be the typical Essendon thing to do…

To balance that, Parish was mentioned as a 2023 Bomber, but not necessarily thereafter.

Liam Stocker.
Medium Defender
22
184cm
86kg
Apparently met with Dodoro ...

Junior clubs: Sandringham Dragons (VIC)
AFL clubs: Carlton
Carlton debut: Round 7, 2019
Recruited from: Sandringham Dragons (VIC)
Brownlow Medal votes: -

Liam Stocker enters his third season at the elite level looking to add to the five games he played in his debut season. Having spent the majority of his pre-season training as a midfielder, Stocker was singled out over the pre-season by Senior Coach David Teague for his work in contested drills over the course of the summer. Just as likely to win the contested ball as he is to punish the opposition with his disposal by foot, Carlton fans will be looking to see a spike from Stocker in 2021.

Draft history: 2018 NAB AFL Draft 1st round selection, No.19 overall.
Clearly no spike seen...what does he offer?

28 games over 4 years - hampered by injury and publicly acknowledged anxiety.

Would be another contender for the High Performance medical center...

It appears the Irishman is looking to return to Australia. What a great HB line that would be with Hynd on one side and McKenna on the other. I wonder if we are even talking to him. On the same note, I hope we are still in touch with Tippa. You never know what can happen especially if you do not ask.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

Yeah, last year Dunkley and Bobby Hill wanted to come to us. Now it seems they`ll go to any-body but us, but who can blame them not wanting to come to our shambolic lot?.

I thought Lobb was the one they didn't want to lose Grassy. No heart or something, or just bored with the company over there?

Trade anything and everything, even tank if we have to, so we can get the 2023 number 1 pick and we can get Harley Reid.

We are keen on the Jack Bowes and pick 7 combo. Competing with Geelong for that deal (though I would have thought we have much more cap space than the cats - especially as they seem to be getting McKenna).

We are also keen on Corbett from the Suns. 190 cm tall, 26 years old ... but has only played 36 games over 4 seasons for less than a goal a game (33 goals). On paper doesn't sound great.

I would have thought our major priority would be a quick crumber. Sadly, Bobby Hill is one his way to the pies.

The other priority would be an experienced big bodied FB. Laverde has been punching above his weight all season.

Also - I would not be too disappointed if we gave Stocker a tryout.
