I didn’t see the report but did hear about it and the aftermath.

Apparently the 7:30 Report copped some flak for what was deemed one-sided reporting that triggered nasty response from the public to staff at PL. In effect, and as they say… release the hounds but bury the bone, staff required counselling due to the relentless criticism and accusational nature of them.

For what I understand PL were addressing the concerns of the residents. I assume this is about the same issue I was made aware of?

A number of residents complained about one resident who was smoking in the village. The residents committee passed a resolution to ban smoking in the village. The resident continued to smoke. PL then threatened the resident with eviction.

What else could PL do if the residents committee kept complaining about ONE other resident?

From my angle,they were pretty much being being c**** to their elderly residents!
